Emory Tunsill Obituary

TUNSILL Celebration Services for the life of Emory Renaldo Tunsill, will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, November 20, 2006, in the Soutel Chapel of Brown-Green-Fralin Funeral Director's Inc. Mr. Tunsill, 51, was born in Jacksonville, and was a lifelong resident here. He was educated in the local schools of Duval County, and was a graduate of Edward H. White High School, Class of 1972. An avid scouter, he attained the rank of Eagle Scout. Mr. Tunsill, a very courageous young man, went to be with the Lord, November 13th, and will be missed by his loving family: his daughter, Ashley Tunsill; Step-daughter, Lanier; parents, Raymond Emory and Magdelene “Bessie” Tunsill; sister, Margaret (Tavio); brothers, William (CarolAnn), John(Angela) and Armand (Marie); aunts, Elizabeth Wilson, Bernice Thomas, Anita T. Garner, Carlotta T. McIntosh, and Nellie Tunsill; uncles, John Thomas, and Laurence I. Tunsill; Niece, Tomesha; nephews, William, Jr., Phillip, Shawn, John, Jr., Joshua, Charles,and Anthony; cousins and god-brothers, Willie Kirkland, and Tony Wright; Anqunette(the mother of his daughter); other relatives and many friends. His loving grandparents, Willie and Margaret Sparrow, and John I. and Jewel E. Tunsill, preceded him in death. The family will received friends at the Soutel Chapel Sunday, from 3 ~ 6:00 PM. The Funeral Cortege will assembler at 1072 West 24th Street at 9:00 AM Monday. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park.
