Obituary Condolences

GULLATT Ulysses S. Gullatt passed away at Memorial Hospital on Sunday, March 30, 2003. Born and reared in Jacksonville. FL to the late Ulysses Gullatt, Sr. and Johnnie Mae Gullatt, he was a product of the local schools, having graduated from Walker Business College. He was a member of Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church. Membership in fraternal organizations included Oakland Lodge #65, Rabia Temple #8, Tillman Valentine Consistory #22, and the American Legion Post #197. Mr. Gullatt is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Carol Gullatt; daughter, Cynthia Bowman (Dwight); granddaughter, Keena Bowman; sister, Virdie Cruse; brother, Charles Gullatt (Weslene); caring nephew, Kevin Gullatt (Velma); nieces, Brenda King, Karen Owens, Joyce Smith, Jackie Cruse, Bonnie Gullatt, Joyce and Mickey; nephews, Jonathan Cruse, Rev. Gerald Cruse, Tony Baker, Carlton Baker (Denice) and Daryll Baker (Betty); sister-in-law, Myrna Strain (Joseph); brother-in-law, Henry Copeland; a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 5, 2003, at 1:00 PM, in the First Timothy Baptist Church, 12103 Biscayne Blvd. Mr. Gullatt will rest at the mortuary for visitation of friends from 5 until 8 PM TODAY. The cortege will assemble at his home at 1008 Turtle Creek Dr., N., at 12:00 Noon Saturday. Interment will be in Edgewood Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to A.B.
