Rosemary "Rosie" Barnes, 62, of Covington, died Tuesday Dec. 23, 2014, at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro. Rosie was born June 23, 1952, in Blossburg, a daughter of Gerald W. Barnes Sr. and Agnes (Kelly) Barnes. She was a member of the Mansfield First United Methodist Church, had worked for Pudgies in Mansfield for 15 years, and was a merchandiser for Stroehmann Bread Co. Rosie enjoyed mowing her lawn. Rosie is survived by a brother, Ralph K. Barnes of Mansfield; a sister, Joyce A. Barnes of Blossburg; a special niece, Breanne Barnes. She was predeceased by her parents, and a brother, Gerald W. Barnes. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, Dec. 27, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield. A memorial service will follow at the funeral chapel with Pastor Harry Colegrove officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to American Cancer Society, 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport, Pa. 17701, specifically for ovarian cancer.

BUTTON SR. , FRANK HENRY - Middlebury Center  
Frank Henry Button, Sr., 76, of Middlebury Center, died on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014, at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre. He was the husband of Beverly Wood, whom he married on Nov. 16, 1963. They were married for 51 years. Frank was born Nov. 3, 1938, in Blossburg, the son of the late Bruce and Bessie (Applebee) Button, Sr. He was a machine operator at Dresser Rand in Painted Post, N.Y. for 35 years. Frank was an Army veteran and served during the Vietnam Conflict. He enjoyed NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt. He liked to go hunting and fishing, but truly enjoyed attending his grandsons' activities. Frank was a member of the Middlebury VFD for 49 years. In addition to his wife Beverly; Frank is survived by his son, Frank Button, Jr. (Penny) of Middlebury Center; grandchildren, Holly Kio (Matthew) of Mills, Brayden and Tanner Button of Middlebury Center; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Judy Costley of Caton, N.Y., Betty Jean Jackson of Middlebury Center, Mary Jane Allen of Elmira, N.Y., Joyce Mason of Lawrenceville, Patti Snyder of Lindley, N.Y., Joan Kline of Middlebury Center and Jane Rueker of Nelson. Frank was preceded in death by two sisters, Charlotte Plank, Suzanne Caldwal; five brothers, Bruce, Ellis, Robert, Burdette Button and Richard Parish. Friends and family are invited to Frank's Life Celebration on Friday, Dec. 26, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, "A Life Celebration Home," 139 Main St., Wellsboro. Funeral service will be on Saturday, Dec. 27, at 11 a.m., at the funeral home with Pastor Kristi Webster officiating. Interment will be in Middlebury Union Cemetery.
