SAHRLE, ROGER L. - Rochester  
Roger L. Sahrle, 79 of Rochester, N.Y., passed away on Monday, Aug. 31, 2015. Born June 9, 1936, in Osceola, he was the son of the late Carl and Virginia Sahrle. Roger served in the United States Marines. Family will received friends at the Kenyon Funeral Home, 214 W. Main St., Elkland on Saturday, Sept. 5 from 2 to 4 p.m. A funeral service will be held immediately following at 4 p.m., with the Rev. Larry O'Dell officiating. SHAFER, PHYLLIS (BUCKINGHAM) - Linden  
Phyllis Buckingham Shafer, 88, of Linden, died Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015, at Rose View Center. Phyllis taught English at Williamsport High School. Phyllis read extensively, loved history and had a penchant for travel and adventure. Phyllis and her second husband, Bob Shafer, travelled around the world. Late in life, Phyllis taught English in China. Phyllis is survived by her son, L. Jay Buckingham, III, his wife Bea; son Michael, his wife Kwi; daughter, Ruth, her husband Bruce; daughter, Tara and 11 grandchildren. Also remembered at this time are Ruth Cobb, Phyllis' sister of the heart, Ruth's husband Cal and their family and Bob Shafer's family including his daughter, Cheryl; sons, Chris and Curtis; Bob's grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Phyllis was preceded in death by husband, L. Jay Buckingham; husband, Bob Shafer; son-in-law, Bob Mayes; step-son, Craig Shafer and her brothers Mike and Bernard. A funeral service to honor the life of Phyllis will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport. Burial will be in Trout Run Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to the Lycoming College Scholarship Fund 700 College Place Williamsport, Pa. 17701 or the Lycoming County Historical Society, 858 West Fourth St., Williamsport, Pa. 17701.

Keith D. "Bud" Sutton, 70, of Mansfield, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2015, at home. He was born Sept. 19, 1944, in Kingston, the son of Cecil and Doris Kreiger Sutton. Bud was a retiree of Tri-County Rural Electric, and a United States Navy veteran. He was a member and Past Master of Friendship Lodge #247 F&AM, a member of the Lambs Creek Sportsman's Club, a member of the National and the Endless Mountain Chapter of the Harley Owners Group. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, the former, Martha Lindemann; three step-sons, Richard Kautz of Athens, Michael (Dixie) Kautz of Chemung, N.Y., Larry Houser of Sayre, five brothers, Cecil Jr. (Laura) of Sweet Valley, Calvin (Libby) of Dallas, Pa., William of Shavertown, Gerald "Red"(MaryLou) of Abbeville, S.C., Ronald (Terry) of Dallas, Pa.; a brother-in-law, Terry (Maria) Lindemann of Lisbon, N.H.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Richard. Friends are invited to call at the Gary Wilston Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 130 S. Main St., Mansfield, Friday , Aug. 28, from 5 to 7 p.m. Friendship Lodge #247 F&AM will conduct a service there Friday at 7 p.m., followed by a funeral service with the Rev. George Ogden officiating.
