DENNIS, HOWARD W. - Carlisle  
Howard W. Dennis, 78, of Carlisle, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016, at his home. He was born Feb. 23, 1938 in Knoxville; the son of the late Walter and Rosalie (Preston) Dennis. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Linda L. Dennis; a daughter, Holly Zeigler; three grandchildren, Ashley Dennis, Jessica Brenneman and Seth Brenneman; two great-grandchildren, McKenzi and Kaleb; two brothers, Richard Dennis, Walter Dennis; and a sister, Aldine Bolon. He was a retired employee from the former Capital Products and True Temper and he was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Howard was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Carlisle VFW Post 2099 and the Carlisle Fraternal Order of the Eagles #1299. Funeral service will beheld at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 30, in the Neill Funeral Home, 3401 Market St, Camp Hill. Burial with military honors will be in Rolling Green Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society , 2 Lemoyne Drive, #101, Lemoyne, Pa. 17043.

DIEM, PEARL E. (GODRA) - Gaines  
Pearl E. (Godra) Diem, 91, of Gaines, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2016, at Broad Acres, Wellsboro. Born Aug. 8, 1924, in Coatesville, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Bessie (Konkoly) Godra. Mrs. Diem was a graduate of Coatesville High School. She was married for 68 years to George K. Diem, Sr., who preceded her in death on March 17, 2016. Mrs. Diem worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad in accounting and for G.O. Carlson as a secretary for the advertising manager. After moving to Gaines, she was a hostess at the Antler's Inn for many years. She was a member of the Mary Wells Chapter #452 Order of the Eastern Star in Wellsboro, a member and past president of the Gaines Elks Council of Republican Women, a member and past president of the Tioga County Federation of Republican Women, a member of the Gaines Thimble Club and a member of the Gaines Card Club. She greatly enjoyed snowmobiling, canoeing, playing pinochle, cooking, entertaining in her home, macramé, tole painting, and sewing many of her own clothes and furnishings for her home. Pearl also enjoyed shooting, and occasionally could outshoot her husband, George. Surviving are many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Diem was predeceased by a son, George Kirk Diem, Jr.; two brothers, Martin Godra, Jr., William Godra; and six sisters, Julia Ratony, Margaret Dynesko, Bessie Mann, Elizabeth Sabo, Mary Langston, and Irene Kocsak. A Celebration of Life will be commemorated for Pearl on Saturday, May 14. at 11 a.m. at her home in Gaines. The Rev. Richard Tintle will officiate. Family and friends are welcome. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, Coatesville, on Saturday, April 23, at 11 a.m. Dennis Arasin officiated. Memorial contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hess Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Galeton.

GEISER, WALLACE R. - WATROUS  
Wallace R. Geiser, 93, of Watrous, died on Sunday, May 1, 2016, at the Laurels Assisted Living, Wellsboro. Born Nov. 12, 1922, in Germania, he was a son of the late Philip and Clara (Hartman) Geiser. Wally was a veteran having served in the United States Army during World War II. On April 3, 1948, in Galeton, he married the former Marie Brown, who preceded him in death. Wally retired from Consolidated Natural Gas. He was a member of St. Bibiana Catholic Church in Galeton, a Lifetime member of the Galeton V.F.W. Post 6611, and a member of the Galeton Moose. Wally enjoyed hunting, fishing, tending to his vegetable garden and watching the birds. Surviving are a son, Mark (Carol) Geiser of Wellsboro; a daughter, Karen Geiser of Galeton; two grandsons, Devin Geiser of Wellsboro, Shawn Geiser of Spain; two brothers, Harold (Irma) Geiser of Germania, Robert (Alice) Geiser of Galeton; three sisters, Teresa Froebel of Galeton, Janet Johnson, Jeanette (Kay) Greeley, both of Wellsboro; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, Wally was preceded in death by three brothers, Leo, Louis and Joseph Geiser. Friends may call at the Hess Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Collins Chapel, Galeton, on Thursday, May 5, from 6 to 8 p.m., and on Friday, May 6, from 10 to 10:30 a.m., at the St. Bibiana Catholic Church, Galeton. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. Joseph Dougherty as Celebrant. Burial will be in Germania Cemetery. Military rites will be accorded by the Potter County Honor Guard. Memorial contributions may be made to Susquehanna Hospice.

Craig L. Huck, 49, of Wellsboro, died on Tuesday, April 26, 2016. He was born on Sept. 18,1966 in Wellsboro, a son of the late Floyd H. Huck and Gloria J. (Ingerick) Huck. Craig was employed by Ward Manufacturing, Blossburg for 25 years and enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, spending time with family and friends and he loved his grandchildren. He is survived by his maternal grandmother, Pauline Ingerick; mother, Gloria J. Huck; wife, Genny Fisher-Huck; children, Briar Huck (Joy Boergermann), Bethany Huck, (John Chambers), Travis Huck, Sarah Huck, Kristy Brown, Megan Cohick, Nicole Wheeler (Steve Ockenhouse), Jennifer Watkins, Sara Bump; grandchildren, Jayden, Adrianna, Logan, Braedan, Calleb, Bryar, Paige; three brothers, Bob Huck (Joan), John Huck (Val), Joe Huck and Scott VanVliet; sister, Cheryl Furrow (Jeff); best friend, Mike Johnston; "second parents,"Don and DeeDee VanVliet; nieces and nephews, Jakob, Joel, Riley, Katelyn, Jessica, Tyler, Hunter, Makaela, Basil, Chad, Breanna, Ashley, Madison and Morgan. KILKENNY, MARY JANE (COOLIDGE) - Mainesburg  
The spirit of Mary Jane Coolidge Kilkenny was set free on Tuesday, April 26, 2016, to experience another transition through eternal time. She was born Feb. 19, 1934, in Wellsboro, a daughter of Fred and Effie (Kriner) Schrader. Mary was the wife of Gustave Kilkenny. Mary was a nurse, and worked for the Wellsboro Gazette as an advertising agent. She was an owner of the Glamour n' Gilitz Internet Business; enjoyed crafts, sewing, quilting, philosophy, science and nature. Mary is survived by her husband, Gustave; three sons, Joel (Tina) Coolidge of Wellsboro, Jason Coolidge of Wellsboro, John (David Burgoyne) Coolidge of Los Angeles, Calif.; a step-son, Christopher (Diana Cote) Kilkenny of E. Hartford, Conn.; two daughters, Pamela (William) Reese of Wellsboro, Penny (Donald) Parker of Wellsboro; a step daughter, Susan Hunt of Ashland, Ky.; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. Mary was predeceased by her first husband, Donald Coolidge; three brothers and two sisters. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Saturday, April 30, at 11 a.m., at Shumway Hill Cemetery, Charleston Township, Wellsboro, with the Rev. Eugene Charsky officiating.
