Betty Ann Doan, 76, of Knoxville passed away on Monday, Apr. 15, 2013, at her home after an extended illness.
Born May 13, 1936 in Osceola, she was the daughter of the late John and Agnes (Odle) Kemp.
Betty is survived by her husband, Duane A. Doan. They would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Apr. 30th. Betty and Duane had a very close relationship and working outside the home was spent together at D&S Chevrolet-Olds Dealership in Elkland for many years.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, Duane, are four daughters; Kathy (Randy) Morgan, Elkland; Linda (Doug) Skinner, Westfield; Wendy (Mike) Kimble, Elkland; Jodie (Jason) Dibble, Knoxville; seven grandchildren, Ryan (April) Morgan, Elkland; Kelly (Ben) Walker, Richmond, Ky.; Christopher (Laura) Kimble, Mesa, Ariz.; SSGT John Kimble, Emerado, N. Dak.; SSGT Dan Skinner, Browns Mills, N.J.; Leah Skinner, Westfield; Logan Dibble, Knoxville; four great-grandchildren, Caleb, Alyvia and Aryen Morgan, Elkland; Ava Clare Walker, Richmond, Ky.; her brother, Shirland (Louise) Kemp, Charleston, W. Va.; her sister, Zetta Kemp, Grantsville, Md.; a sister-in-law, Diane Kemp, Knoxville; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Betty was predeceased by one sister, Onalee (Kemp) Mallory, and a brother, John Kemp.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
