Donald Parks, 79, of Boatman Road, Knoxville, died on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at his home.
He was the husband of Kathryn O'Bryan, whom he married on Dec. 25, 1954.
Donald was born June 11, 1934 in Summerville, N.J., the son of the late Floyd and Charlotte (Brady) Parks.
He was retired from Ingersoll Rand, in Painted Post, N.Y. Donald attended Jemison Valley Church, Westfield. He was a life member of VFW
Post #6753, Knoxville. Donald was an U.S. Air Force
Veteran, having served in the Korean Conflict
Surviving, in addition to his wife, Kathryn, are his sons and daughters-in-law, Steven Parks (Anne), Knoxville; Thomas P. Parks (Patricia), Gloucester, Va.; Donald Michael Parks (Gretchen), Slidell, La.; daughters and sons-in-law, Karen Pelletier (Roger) Lewiston, Maine; Judy Henderson (Keith), Burlington, N.C.; brother and sister-in-law, Robert Parks (Patricia), Salt Lake City, Utah.
Friends and family are invited to Donald's Life Celebration on Friday, Jan. 31, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, ""A Life Celebration Home,"" 139 Main Street, Wellsboro. Funeral to follow at 11 a.m., with Pastor Ray Mummert officiating. Burial in Riverside Cemetery, Knoxville.
