Gloria Reynolds Moss Samer, 72, of Binghamton, N.Y., formerly of Athens, passed away on Feb. 9, 2014.
Born, Sept. 27, 1941, in Corning N.Y., she was the daughter of the late George and W. June Short Reynolds.
Gloria was a graduate of Little Marsh High School. She was the retired owner and operator of The Stitching Post, East Smithfield and Sayre. Gloria was a member of the Sons of Italy and the Valley La-Tee-da's (Red Hat Society) both of Sayre.
Gloria is survived by her daughter and son- in-law, Rhonda Moss-Tatich (James) of Chenango Bridge, N.Y.; son, George Moss of East Smithfield; brother and sister-in-law, Gary Joe and Sandra Reynolds of Wellsboro; two grandchildren, Jeffrey and Ethan Moss; three great-grandchildren; three step-daughters, Sheri Benson of Maryland, Linda Wyman of Colorado and Nancy Hart of Pennsylvania. Gloria was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Moss.
Friends and family are invited to Gloria's Life Celebration on Sunday, Feb. 16, from noon to 2 p.m., at Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, Ltd., "A Life Celebration Home," 139 Main St., Wellsboro. Funeral will follow at 2 p.m., with Lay Pastor Ellen Bartholomew officiating. Burial will be in Ackley Cemetery, at the convenience of the family.
