Jean Ruth Callahan Champaign, 86, of Inman, S.C., beloved wife of Hilton Champaign passed away at her home on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013.
She was born in Wellsboro on Feb. 4, 1927, to Frank and Addie (Wilcox) Callahan.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Kathleen (Gary) Lee, Gili (Tom) Larkin, Cynthia (Greg) Kosty, Kevin (Dawn) Champaign, Holly (Jay) Castriotta and Eric (Karen) Champaign; 12 grandchildren; 11 great- grandchildren; her sister, Sandra (John) Narde; brother, Rex Callahan; brother and sister-in-laws, Larry (Barbara) Champaign, Marsden (Bobbie) Champaign, Darold (Nancy) Champaign and Terry (Rozella) Champaign. Jean was preceded in death by her beloved grandson, Christopher Lee and great- grandson Brandon Lee.
A graveside service will be held on Monday Aug. 26, at 10 a.m., at the Champlin Cemetery in Westfield. Arrangements are in care of Kenyon Funeral Home, Westfield.
