Kenneth Eugene Repard, 73, of 28 Hebe Lane, Liberty, passed away after a battle with cancer Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at the Green Home, Wellsboro, surrounded by his family.
Born Feb. 6, 1940, in Liberty, he was the son of Clinton and Gladys (Brion) Repard.
He was self-employed as an excavation contractor. Ken was a life-member of the Liberty Volunteer Fire Department and the Liberty Lutheran Church
Surviving are his children, Perry of Liberty, Rob and wife Linnea of Wellsboro,Tim and wife Brenda of Austin, Texas, Troy and wife Amy of Liberty; grandchildren, Heath, Tinecia, Brett, and Natasha Repard, Broc and Taynton Repard, Raelyn and Dawson Jordan, Chelsea and Tyler Repard; great-grandson, Easton Michael Repard, to be born this fall. Also surviving are sisters Joyce and husband Roy Reed of Wellsboro, Diann and her late husband Jerry Repard of Quakertown; a brother, Ralph and wife, Gloria Repard of Owego, N.Y.; the mother of Kenny's sons, Dixie Perry and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Friday March 22, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at the Freeberg Funeral Home, Blossburg; also Saturday at the Liberty Lutheran Church from noon until 1 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Richard Mowery, officiating. Interment will follow at Friedens Lutheran Cemetery. Donations may be directed to , Tioga Unit, 1948 E.
