Larry L. Gerow, 54, of Wellsboro, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013.
He was the husband of Linda Huntington, whom he married on June 5, 2004. Larry was born May 26, 1959, in Wellsboro, the son of Perley Gerow and Joan Spencer Hart.
He was a lifelong resident of Wellsboro, having graduated from Wellsboro High School with the class of 1977. Larry touched the lives of so many people with his kindness, encouragement and positive words. He was employed as a realtor for United Country Realty Pioneers. Larry attended God's Family Fellowship of Wellsboro, where he served as a Deacon. He was a member of the Wellsboro Moose, member of #350 Bloss Lodge F&AM and a past member of ABATE. Larry was an avid motorcyclist, he loved riding his Harley. In addition, he was an avid Penguins fan. He was a United States Navy
Surviving are his wife, Linda of Wellsboro; two daughters, Danielle Stohlberg (Dustin) of Wellsboro, Tiffany Gerow of Blossburg; his mother, Joan Spencer Hart of Wellsboro; brother, Michael Gerow (Carol) of Covington; four grandchildren, Kaleb, Derrick and Andrew Stohlberg, of Wellsboro, Ryan Derby, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two nephews, Steve Butler, Terry Gerow, both of Pittsburgh. Larry was preceded in death by a son, Nicholas Stacey Gerow and his father, Perley Gerow.
Friends and family are invited to Larry's Life Celebration on Saturday, Dec. 7, 5 p.m., at God's Family Fellowship, 249 Old Tioga St., Wellsboro with Pastor Joe Wagner officiating. Services will be followed by a celebratory dinner at the Wellsboro Moose. Local arrangements by Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, Ltd., "A Life Celebration Home," 139 Main St., Wellsboro.
