M. June (Burt) Abreu, 82, of Mansfield, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, at her home with her family.
June was born June 13, 1930, in Franklinville, N.Y., a daughter of H. Plynn and M. Marie (Pfitzenmaier) Burt. She would have celebrated 54 years of marriage to Arthur Abreu on Nov. 8.
June retired as a secretary for the Mansfield District Magistrate's office in 1995. She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, word find puzzles, and playing games with her grandchildren.
June is survived by her husband, Arthur; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Bunny Yoder of Delaware; two daughters, Mary Abreu of Troy, Patricia Doud and husband, Scott of Mainesburg; two grandchildren, Tyler S. Doud, Brittany M. Doud; sister-in-law, Helen Burt. She was predeceased by three brothers, Russell P. Burt, Jack S. Burt, Robert E. Burt, and a sister, Betty V. Andrews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, Nov. 9, at 3:30 p.m., in Oakwood Cemetery, Mansfield, with Mr. Dale Harper officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to
