Frances Mary Gurnsey, 83, of 122 Railroad Street, Westfield, passed away Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at the Green Home, Inc., Wellsboro.
She was born Mar. 12, 1929, in Kenneyville, the daughter of Merle and Mary Thompson Davis.
She is survived by sons, Dale and Clare Gurnsey, Elkland; Douglas and Vicki Gurnsey, Bloomsburg, Pa.; Dwayne Gurnsey, Knoxville; daughters, Joyce and Duane Cunningham, Westfield; JoAnn and Wesley Burrell, Sabinsville; Tina Abbott, Knoxville; Jill Lowe, Westfield; sister, Lenora White, Corning, N.Y.; brother, Arnold and Nina Davis, Westfield; 25 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald, in 1996.
Family and friends were invited to call at the Kenyon Funeral Home, Inc., 222 West Main Street, Westfield, Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m., immediately following the visitation. Pastor Sharon Kent officiated.
Burial was in Champlin Cemetery, Westfield.
