Gianina Elizabeth Carlone, 11, of Blossburg, died on Sunday, June 24, 2012.
She was born on Aug. 24, 2000, in Wellsboro, a daughter of Debra S. (Nellis) Choplosky Carlone of Blossburg and Eugene Carlone of Tioga.
She had just graduated the sixth grade from the North Penn Junior/Senior High School and enjoyed the Girl Scouts, swimming, band, chorus, riding bike and playing with friends.
She attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Mansfield.
She is survived by her parents; maternal grandparents, Annette and LaRue Kreger of Wellsboro, Jerry and Linda Nellis of Wellsboro; paternal grandfather, Gustino Carlone of Cherry Hill, N.J.; brothers, Chaelin Choplosky of Lock Haven, Jonas Choplosky of Blossburg, Michael Choplosky of Blossburg, Isaac Choplosky of Tennessee; sisters, Orianna Choplosky of Blossburg, Carrie Miller of Liberty, Rebecca Choplosky of Montrose, Marcie Booth of Montrose, Francee Johnson of Hot Bottom; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Gianina was predeceased by her paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Carlone.
Friends may call on Friday, June 29, from 10 a.m. to noon, at the North Penn Junior/Senior High School. Funeral services will follow at noon with Branch President George E. Brown officiating. Interment will be in Arbon Cemetery, Blossburg. Memorial contributions may be made to her mother to help with their losses. Arrangements are being handled by the Wilston Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 130 S. Main St., Mansfield.
