Hardy M. Judd, 92 of 11 Race Street, Westfield, passed away Dec. 22, 2012 at Nicholas H. Noyes Memorial Hospital, Dansville, N.Y.
He was born Aug. 19, 1920 in Potter Brook, the son of Floyd and Avis Little Judd.
He was a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service, Westfield for many years, member of the Westfield United Methodist Church, Past Master and Secretary for Masonic Lodge #477 F&AM, member of the American Legion and a volunteer for the Salvation Army.
He is survived by his son, Larry and Pamela Judd, Dansville, N.Y.; his daughter, Lisa Jones, Lumberton, N.J.; four grandchildren, Timothy Judd, Kathryn Mona Judd, Christopher Jones and Aaron Judd Jones; a sister, Beverly and Robert Horton, Reading, Pa.; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mona C. Judd, in 2006.
Calling hours will be held at Kenyon Funeral Home, 222 West Main Street, Westfield today (Wednesday) from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. Burial to follow in the Riverview Cemetery, Potter Brook.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army or to the Westfield United Methodist Church.
