James W. "Jim," "Jay Jay," Martin, 46, of Route 6, Wellsboro, died unexpectedly Saturday, May 26, 2012, in the emergency room at Sailors and Soldiers Hospital.

Jim was born Nov. 2, 1965, in Wellsboro, the son of Earl Lee Martin, Sr. and Joan Ann Kane Martin Clemens.
He was employed as a furniture store manager, for Beiters Home Center, East Smithfield. He had been previously employed by Davis Furniture Store in Wellsboro, for 21 years. Jim was a member of Wellsboro Veterans Club and the Ironheads Motorcycle Club.
Surviving are his mother, Joan Clemens of Wellsboro, step-father, David Clemens of Wellsboro; maternal grandmother, Marie Kane, of Wellsboro; a son, Joshua Martin of Wellsboro; two brothers, Tim Martin of Wellsboro, Micheal (Carolyn) Clemens of North Carolina; three sisters, Michele (Kevin) McNett of Wellsboro, Melinda Pequignot of Blossburg, Jen Wilson of Fort Hood, Texas; many nieces and nephews and my 'special sweet love of God.'
Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 30, at the Wellsboro Cemetery, 104 Nichols St., Wellsboro, with the Rev. Robert Shuey, officiating. Arrangements by Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, a "Life Celebration Home", 139 Main St. Wellsboro. Memorials in Jim's name may be made to his son, Joshua Martin, 5272 Route 6, Wellsboro, Pa. 16901.
