Larry A. Fischer, 65, of Knoxville, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013, at his home.

Born July 7, 1948 in Marysville, Calif., he was the son of William and Edith (Ford) Fischer.
Larry married Sandra Mummey.
He served in the U.S. Army and was the owner of Fischer Primers. He was an elder for the Church of Latter Day Saints, Mansfield, a member of the Penn National Guard from 1984 to 1994, a member of the Tioga County Honor Guard, and a member of North South Skirmish Association. Larry was an inspector for the National Civil War Artillery Association and from 1995 to 2013 he was a Civil War Reinactor and living historian.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra; sons, Michael and Jeffrey Fischer; daughter, Stacy Fischer; step sons, Jason and Garetson Turner; his sisters, Irene (David) Looper and Rosemary Fischer; a sister-in-law, Carol Fischer; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a brother, William Fischer.
A Celebration of His Life will be held on May 17, 2014 at his home, 118 East Main Street, Knoxville.
Memorial donations may be made to the Wesley Academy, 424 North Buffalo Street, Elkland, Pa. 16920.
