Lillian I. Watkins, 85, of Little Marsh, passed away on Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at Soldier & Sailors Memorial Hospital.

She was the wife of the late Vernard E. Watkins who preceded her April 25, 2011. Lillian was born May 27, 1927, in Westfield, the daughter of the late Michael and Magdalena Tannler Brugger.
She was a former LPN at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital. In addition, Lillian and her husband owned a dairy farm for many years in Little Marsh. She was a member of Little Marsh United Methodist Church where she was an organist for 50 years. She also was a 50-year member of the Grange.
Surviving are her daughter, Linda Lewis of Elmira N.Y.; son, Wayne Watkins of Elmira, N.Y.; son and daughter-in-law, Harold and Vivian Watkins of Little Marsh; four grandchildren, David and Jacob Steinfelt, Matthew Watkins, Elizabeth Chilson, seven great-grandchildren, Abram and Graham Steinfelt, Brent and Ashlynn Watkins, Alexis, Ethan and Evan Chilson; brother and sister-in-law, Ted (Betty) Brugger of Turlock, Calif. She was preceded in death by six brothers, Albert, Walter, Carl, Arnold, Frank and Fred Brugger; three sisters, Elsie Cobb, Emma Mirto and Evelyn Dawson; her son-in- law, Lee Lewis.
Friends and family are invited to Lillian's Life Celebration on Friday Dec. 14, from 10 to 11 a.m., at Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, "A Life Celebration Home," 139 Main St., Wellsboro. Funeral will follow at 11 a.m., with Pastor Jay Morris officiating. Burial will be in Champlin Cemetery, Westfield.
