Micheal N. Krause, 17, of Elkland, died on Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012, in Mansfield.
Born on Sept. 15, 1994, in Towanda, he was the son of Scott Krause of Ithaca, N.Y., and Jennifer (Folen) Shaffer of Elkland. He was married to Shondra (LaPoint) Krause of Mansfield.
Michael was a student who enjoyed spending time with his daughter, family, tattoos, piercings and skateboarding.
In addition to his wife, his parents and his step-father, John Shaffer of Elkland, he is survived by a daughter, Lillian Rannee Krause of Mansfield; one brother, Jeffrey Krause of Mansfield; two sisters, Kristian and Angelia Krause of Elkland; maternal grandparents, Judy Ogden of Trout Run, Louis Folen, Jr. of Greenville, N.C.; paternal grandparents, Neil Krause of Covington, and Dorothy Krause of Blossburg; two aunts, Heather Roxberry of Mansfield; Misty (Jerreod) Spencer of Elkland; foster grandmother, Michele Akey of Mansfield; god-mother, Laurie Confer; god-sister, Amanda Confer; both of Blossburg; foster aunt, April Beiber of Wellsboro; foster aunt, Wynn Przybycien of Blossburg; foster uncle, Nathan Keeney of Wellsboro; foster aunt, Lydia Akey of Mansfield; cousin and best friend, Kaylee Sherer of Mansfield; best friend, Pat McClain of Roseville; and much loved numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, Sept. 13, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield. A funeral service will be held immediately following calling hours at 7 p.m., with the Rev. Sharon Kent officiating.
