Rev. Nancy W. Luce of Wellsboro, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at The Green Home.

Her husband, Philip B. Luce and she were married on Aug. 24, 1957, and he survives. Nancy was born Oct. 29, 1934, in Plainfield, N.J., the daughter of the late William H. and Phyllis Kane Carroll.
She was a retired Presbyterian minister who last served in the Galeton Presbyterian Church, Galeton.
Along with her husband, Mrs. Luce is survived by her son, Timothy Luce and his wife, Carol Gilmore of Easton; two daughters, Phyllis Fitzsimmons-Luce and husband, Tyler Fitzsimmons of Stow, Mass., Sarah B. Luce of Portland, Maine; three granddaughters, Rachel Luce, Elise and Jehanne Fitzsimmons; and two sisters, Nina Devantery (Rob) of Newfields, N.H., and Cynthia Smith (Alden) of Sangerville, Maine; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Nancy is a graduate of Colby College of Waterville, Maine and earned graduate degrees from Harvard-Radcliff College and Princeton Theological Seminary.
A memorial service will be held in the First Presbyterian Church of Wellsboro on Friday, Dec. 7, at 11:30 a.m., with the Rev. Glen Hallead officiating, with a luncheon to follow. Arrangements are by Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, "A Life Celebration Home," 139 Main St., Wellsboro.
