Phyllis H. (Harding-Wheeler) Kimball (1929 - 2018)

Phyllis H. Kimball, 88, formally of Cambridge, Md., who previously resided in Erie and York, passed away Sept. 4, 2018 at Mallard Bay Nursing Home, in Cambridge Md.
Born Dec. 1, 1929 in the Wellsboro hospital, she was the daughter of the late Clinton and Althea Harding/Wheeler.
She attended local schools and graduated from Wellsboro Area High School with the class of 1947.
Phyllis married her high school sweetheart, Earl L. Kimball. Together they shared over 66 years of marriage.
They were the example of the perfect couple, enjoying traveling, camping, music, dancing, social, religious activities and just spending their time together. Earl passed away in 2011.
Phyllis was a home maker and began her career with McCoury's distribution center and later at Paid Car Auction in York.
Everyone knew Phyllis as a very kind and loving person.
After Earl's death, she lived with her son and daughter-in-law in Cambridge, Md.
Phyllis is survived by her sons Dennis E. Kimball, and Bruce Kimball.
Her daughter Teresa Smith, passed away several years ago, in addition she has five grandchildren, five step-grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Dorothy Horton.
A service will be held at the Niles Valley Cemetery in Wellsboro, with Pastor Jeb McCleary, Monday Oct. 8, at 10:30 a.m.
