Ron married Mary Jo Garman in August 1969. They shared 48 wonderful years of love and adventure.
Ron was born in Harrisburg on June 18, 1948, the son of Richard Beshore and the late Janet Diffenderfer Beshore.
Ron graduated from Cedar Cliff High School in Camp Hill and was co-captain of the football team. He taught health, physical education, and sports medicine for 33 years in the West Shore School District at Red Land High School and Allen Middle School. He coached football at Allen Junior High and Cedar Cliff High School and then was involved in all sports as athletic trainer at Red Land for 20 years. He was a mentor and role model for many students and athletes.
Ron enjoyed following and watching sports of all kinds, but especially small college football. He also enjoyed biking, hiking, skiing and many other outdoor activities. He loved being with family, especially the grandkids, and friends. His boundless energy also kept him busy with fitness, home improvements, travel, and working on projects in his woodshop.
