William "Bill" Ward Anderson of Fruitland Park Fla., native of Wellsboro passed away at his home Tuesday, April 2, 2013.
He is survived by three siblings, Dawn Swinsick, Joyce Moore, and John Anderson. He leaves behind three daughters, Khrishone Tyler of Corning, N.Y.; Billie Jo Berson, Marie Widows, both of Wellsboro; and a son, Michael Anderson of Millerton. He also leaves behind nine grandsons, four granddaughters and one great-grandson.
"Bill" served in the Army from 1965-1968. After completing a tour in Germany, he was honorably discharged. He was a truck driver for many years before being employed at Dura-Stress for approximately 10 years. He was known as"Pops" by his fellow co-workers.
