Marian P. Ranck, 89, of Millerton, passed away at her home on Monday, March 10, 2014, surrounded by her loving family.

Marian was born Sept. 20, 1924, in Morris, a daughter of Alex and Alice (Creek) Patt. She was the widow of John C. Ranck.
Marian was a member of Holy Child Catholic Church, the Mansfield VFW and had worked at The Steak House in Wellsboro. Marian enjoyed cooking, reading and crocheting.
Marian is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael (Rose Foster) Ranck of Lawrenceville, John (Eileen) Ranck of Wellsboro, Joe Ranck of Elmira, N.Y.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Peggy Westmoreland of Clemson, S.C., Susan (Tim) Horton of Elmira, N.Y.; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Dorothy Green of Tioga, Charlotte Stevens of Tioga, Patricia (George) Duford of Rochester, N.Y. She was predeceased by her husband, John; a brother, Ed; three sisters, Genevieve, Christina and Loretta.
Family and friends are invited to call today, Wednesday, March 12, from 9 to 10 a.m., at Holy Child Catholic Church, 245 S. Main St., Mansfield. A memorial mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., at the church with Rev. John J. Chmil as celebrant. Burial will be in Roseville Cemetery.
