June M. Heatley, 87, of Wellsboro, died on Monday, April 21, 2014, at The Green Home.
She was the wife of Willard S. Heatley, whom she married March 24, 1945. June was born March 24, 1927, in Elmira N.Y., the daughter of the late Leroy and Thelma (Young) Manwaring.
She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church where she was active in the Ladies Guild. June enjoyed cooking, canning, camping, crocheting and knitting. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and David Campbell of Wellsboro; son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Bonnie Heatley of Craig, Ark.; four grandchildren, Michael Crooks, Dawn Huck, Karen Mitchell, Bruce Heatley, SFC; six great-grandchildren.
Friends and family are invited to June's Life Celebration on Thursday, April 24, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, "A Life Celebration Home," 139 Main St., Wellsboro. Funeral will follow at 8 p.m., with Rev. Canon Gregory Hinton officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the .
