Joyce L. Gable, 67, of Middlebury, passed away at home, on Monday, Feb. 4, 2013.

She was the wife of Robert Gable whom she married on June 5, 1965. Joyce was born Sept. 28, 1945, in West Chester, the daughter of the late Hilton Chambers and Gladys (Wooldridge) Chambers.
She was previously employed at Holston Children's Home as a cook. Joyce was a member of Holliday Alliance Church, where she served as a deaconess and was a soloist in the choir. She loved to go antiquing. Joyce especially loved being with her family.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Robert, are a son, Paul Gable of Hendersonville, N.C.; her daughters, Nicole Garrison (Jackson) of Troy, Mont., Kimberly Reynolds (Barnabas) of Harrisburg; seven grandchildren; four brothers and two sisters. In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by two brothers.
Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 7, from 2 to 3 p.m., at Holliday Alliance Church. Funeral will follow at 3 p.m., with Pastor Erik Ferguson officiating.
