Romaine C. Gigee, 71, most recently from Florida passed away on Monday Jan. 21, 2013.
He was born in Westfield, where he spent his early childhood, moving to Harford County, Maryland in 1953. Mr. Gigee attended North Harford High School and upon graduation enlisted in the United States Air Force. After his time in the service he returned to make Harford County his home. He moved to Florida in the early 80's, where he worked for and retired from the City of Orlando.
Romaine, also known as RC, is survived by a son, Richard Pfaff, of Baltimore, Md.; a daughter, Tamara Ziegenbein and husband, Dustin from North East, Md.; and a step-daughter, Tori Mach and husband, Alex from Groveland, Fla. He has four grandchildren, Ayden and Collin Ziegenbein, Megan and Paislee Pfaff. He is also survived by a sister, Robin Wigley and husband, Chip of Stewartstown; a brother, James Lindsley Schueler and wife Maria of Forest Hill, Md.; as well as nieces and nephews.
Romaine will be buried on Saturday, March 9, at Holy Trinity Church in Churchville, Md. There will be a graveside service and burial at 2 p.m. with a 'time of remembrance' and reception following in the fellowship hall. He will be interred with military honors.
