Emily C. Reinsmith
Emily C. Reinsmith, 95, formerly of Slatedale, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013, in Blue Mountain Health System, Palmerton Campus. She was the daughter of the late William and Cora (Snyder) Reinsmith.
She graduated from the former Slatington High School in 1935.
Emily was a long-time member of Salem United Methodist Church, Slatedale, where she was a former pianist. She enjoyed to stay at home and play Scrabble and read the newspaper.
Surviving are a sister, Carrie Green of Lehighton; nephews, William Green and his wife, Carla of Walnutport; Robert Green and his wife, Anita, of Elizabeth City, NC. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles.
Services: Funeral services 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013, at the Kevin E. Hunsicker Funeral Home, Inc., 4214 Main St., Slatedale, with Pastor Barbara Lee officiating. Interment at Slatedale Cemetery. Call 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Contributions to the church, care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 29, Slatedale, Pa. 18079.
