Badowsky, Marie T. - Summit Hill  
Mrs. Marie T. Badowsky Mrs. Marie T. Badowsky, 93, formerly of Summit Hill, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2016, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the widow of Adolphe T. Badowsky. She was a homemaker. Born in Summit Hill, she was a daughter of the late Christy and Carmella (Serignese) Lisella. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Summit Hill, where she belonged to the former Guild of Catholic Women. Marie enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Garden Club. She also loved spending time with her grand dogs and enjoyed dining out. Surviving are three daughters, Rose Marie "Romie" Moser of Whitehall, Kathleen, wife of Mark Truskey of McKinney, TX, and Carmelle Visconti of Lebanon; a brother, Jack Lisella of Summit Hill; three grandchildren, Christina, Brian and Marcus; three great-grandchildren; good friends, Gary and Dominic; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by five brothers, Frank, Louis, Vincent, Ritchie and Christy; and four sisters, Donetta Pastucha, Carmella Davidyock, Martha Rutch and Dilena Visnosky. Service: Funeral service 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 24, Thomas J. Parambo Funeral Home, 54 W. Fell St., Summit Hill; Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m., St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Summit Hill. Interment, parish cemetery, White Bear, Summit Hill. Call 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday. Bartholomew, John Dale - Brodheadsville  
John Dale Bartholomew John Dale Bartholomew, 75, of Saylorsburg, passed away on Monday, June 27, in the Palmerton Hospital. He was the husband of Barbara (Kresge) Bartholomew. They would have observed their 15th wedding anniversary in December. He was a dairy farmer for most of his life and was also a bus driver for several years. Prior to that, he was a projectionist, where he would run movies in places such as the Buck Hill Inn, The Grand, Sherman Theatre, Unity House and the Wind Gap Theatre. He also did backstage work at Stabler Arena, Bethlehem. Born in East Stroudsburg, he was a son of the late John and Emma (Mosteller) Bartholomew. A 1959 graduate of the former Chestnuthill High School, he was a former board member of the land preservation of Monroe County, and was part of the Pocono Mountain Dairies. He was an avid bowler. Bartholomew took part in the Army Reserves. He was a member of the St. Peter's United Methodist Church, Saylorsburg. Surviving in addition to his widow are a son Walter and a stepson, Matthew Trine, both of Saylorsburg; a daughter Cathy, wife of Brian Feller of Brodheadsville; a brother, Clark Sr., and his wife, Jane, of Canadensis, and many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a sister Janice. Service: Church service noon Friday, July 1, St. Peter's United Methodist Church, Saylorsburg, with the Rev. Todd Glasmire officiating. Beard, Danielle - Lehighton  
Danielle Nicole Beard Danielle Nicole Beard, 17, of Sinking Spring, PA, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2016, in Lebanon County, PA. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Nicole Suzanne Walp Shuck of Sinking Spring. She was preparing to enter her senior year at Wilson High School. As a junior, she earned her letter on the Wilson Rifle Team and was appointed team captain for the upcoming year. She also attended Berks Career and Technology Center, where she was enrolled in the culinary arts program. An aspiring young chef, she had plans to attend the Culinary Institute of America after graduation. Danielle loved music, art and spending time with her younger sister. She learned how to play piano and guitar with guidance from her granddad and also enjoyed riding on the back of his Harley Davidson motorcycle. She was always there for people who needed her, no matter what the problem. She greeted everyone with her bright smile and always knew everyone's name, whether they knew hers or not. In her spare time, she enjoyed a variety of outdoor activities, cooking and baking, and taking care of her pet cat Sharon. Danielle was of the Methodist faith. Surviving in addition to her mother is her sister, Bryana Lynn Shuck, 13, of Sinking Spring; maternal grandparents James and Linda Muffley Walp of Lehighton; her mother's significant other, Evan Patrick Miller of Sinking Spring; and her grandfather, Ronald "Bim" Betz of Palmerton. She was predeceased by her grandmother Mary Betz, and maternal great-grandparents James E. and Gladys S. Walp. Service: Funeral service 1 p.m. Wednesday, Faith Alive UMC, 678 Pine St., (Bowmanstown) Palmerton, PA 18071, with the Rev. Dick Wilcock officiating. Call 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
