Mrs. Miriam J. Gower Hausman Mrs. Miriam E. Gower Hausman, 95, of Lehighton, died Thursday, March 26, in the Summit at Blue Mountain, Lehighton. She was the widow of Allen W. Hausman and Harold H. Gower. She was a sewing machine operator for the former Scotty's Fashions, Lehighton, for many years before retiring. Born in Washington Township, she was a daughter of the late Victor H. and Emma T. (Grammes) Hoffman. She was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs. The deceased enjoyed making clothing, crocheting and making crafts. Surviving are a daughter, RoseAnn D. Mowery, and two sons, Bruce P. Gower, and his wife, Ann, and Llewellyn C. Gower, and his wife, Darlene, all of Lehighton; five sisters, Emma Hittner of Palmerton, Helen Serfass in Delaware, Josephine Gower of Kunkletown, Ella Kunkle in Arizona and Margaret Kluck of Gilbert; three brothers, Preston of Pen Argyl and Richard of Saylorsburg and Harold Hoffman of Kunkletown; two stepdaughters, Virginia Beck of Allentown and Joanne Lesher of Topton; a stepson, Ronald W. Hausman in Florida; 17 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by a daughter, Sandra L. Mowery; two grandsons, five brothers and a sister. Service: Funeral service 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, Heintzelman Funeral Home, 4906 Rt. 309, Schnecksville, with the Rev. Dr. Patience D. Stevenson officiating. Interment, Union Church Cemetery, Neffs. Call 10-11 a.m. Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name may be made to the Union U.C.C. Memorial Fund, c/o the funeral home, P.O. Hummer, Susan A. - Lehighton  
Mrs. Susan A. Hummer Mrs. Susan A. Hummer, 61, of Lehighton, passed away on Saturday, March 28, in her home. She was the widow of Andy Hummer and the companion of John Fritz Sr. Born in East Stroudsburg, she was a daughter of the late Talbert Sr. and Marjorie (Smith) Ace. Susan was a lover of animals and loved spending time with her family. Surviving in addition to her companion are four sons, Richard Robson and John Fritz II, and his wife, Denise, both of Lehighton, John Robson, and his wife, Penny, of East Stroudsburg, and Lester Lesonie of Henryville; three daughters, Mary Lou Ace of Harrisburg and Tara Heintzelman and Lisa Fritz, both of Lehighton; a brother, Henry Murray of East Stroudsburg; 14 grandchildren, Wade and Lance Robson, Charles Frederick III, Lawrence Jr. and Philip McPherson, Melissa, Caitlyn, Terry Jr., Dakota, Kylee, Payton, Jason, David Jr. and Colton; and nine great-grandchildren, Haily, Charlie IV, Alex, Sienna, Selena, Aiden, Marley, Lala and Brody. She was also predeceased by three brothers, Talbert Jr. and Larry Ace Sr. and Talbert Miller Sr.; and a great-granddaughter Lala. Service: Private funeral service at convenience of family.
