Adam L. Markley
Adam L. Markley, 64, of Lower Towamensing Township, died Wednesday, Oct. 9, in his home with family by his side.
He worked for the former New Jersey Zinc Company, Palmerton, for most of his life.
Born in Lehighton, he was a son of the late Clarence and Ruth Markley, and was raised by the late Viola and David Freeby.
He was a member of the Bowmanstown Rod & Gun Club. He loved to fish, hunt and shop most area yard sales.
Surviving are two daughters, Sherri Anthony of Lehighton and Tammy, and her companion, Cliff Haydt, of Kunkletown; four grandchildren, Derek, and his wife, Kate, Taylor, Tori and Colby; a sister, Eileen Brown of Lehighton; his companion of many years, Joann Smith, and her children, Laurie Hutterer of Walnutport and Richard Smith; and three grandchildren, Michael, Frank and Kadie.
