Alan V. Eis

Alan V. Eis, 63, of Germansville, died Saturday, Dec. 1, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Donna E. Mack.
He worked as a disability representative for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Born in Los Angeles, Calif., he was a son of the late Arthur and Elvira (Eshleman) Eis.
He was a member of the Germansville and Emmaus Fire companies.
Eis was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, having served on a ship that was chosen to retrieve one of the space capsules.
Surviving in addition to his widow are a daughter, Laura L. Costagliola of Slatington; a granddaughter, Autumn K. Costagliola; and three brothers, Charles of Nesquehoning, Eric of Kunkletown and Steven in New Hampshire.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Valeta M.
