Anna Rose Marie Seaboldt

Mrs. Anna Rose Marie Seaboldt, 95, of 1461 Blakeslee Blvd. Drive East, Lehighton, passed away Sunday, Jan. 6, in the Weatherwood Nursing Home, Weatherly. She was the widow of Kenneth H. Seaboldt.
Born in New Mahoning, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Ella (Stoffa) Balogach.
She was a homemaker and insurance agent for over 10 years, working with Home Mutual and Shelby Mutual Insurance companies.Her late husband was the grandson of Howard Seaboldt, the Burgess of Lehighton from 1926-1929.
She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Lehighton, where she belonged to the Women's Guild and the Church Cleaning Crew, and was also a member of the Lehighton Women's Club.
In her spare time, baking was her specialty. She loved to garden, spend time with her family and travel.
Surviving are a daughter Susanne, wife of David J. James of Pilesgrove, N.J.; a son, Dan Richard, and his wife, Brenda, of Auburn, Pa.; a sister Pauline, wife of Lester Moerder of Murrieta, Calif.; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was also predeceased by a son David; and several brothers and sisters.
Service: Prayers at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, Andrew P. Ovsak Funeral Home, Fourth and Iron streets, Lehighton; followed by memorial Mass of Christian Burial, SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Lehighton, with the the Rev. Michael E. Ahrensfield officiating. Interment, Lehighton Cemetery. Call 8-9:30 a.m. Wednesday.
