Mrs. Anna Zelinsky
Mrs. Anna Zelinsky, 91, of 101 S. First St., Apt. G01, Lehighton, passed into eternal rest on Tuesday, Feb. 25, in the Mahoning Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Mahoning Township. She was the widow of Walter M. Zelinsky, who died in 2002.
Prior to retiring, she was a sewing machine operator for the former Scotty's Fashions, Palmerton.
Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Metro and Fanny (Petiach) Milkowich.
She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Lehighton.
Surviving are a daughter, Sophie A., wife of Willard L. Laury of Franklin Township; a granddaughter Jennifer, wife of William Benninger of Lehighton; a grandson, Jason Laury in Texas; a great-granddaughter, Sarah Benninger; a great-grandson, Jake Laury; and nieces and nephews.
She was also predeceased by two sisters, Kathryn Weslosky and Mary Frank; and five brothers, Stephen, Charles, Mike, John and Nicholas.
Service: Mass of Christian of Burial 10 a.m. Saturday, March 1, SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Lehighton, with the Rev. Michael E. Ahrensfield officiating. Interment, St. Vladimir (Upper) Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Palmerton. No calling hours. Contributions in her name may be made to the church, 242 N. Third St., Lehighton, Pa. 18235.
