Mrs. Betty H. Harleman
Mrs. Betty H. Harleman, 90, of 141 Maple Avenue, Lehigh-ton, passed into eternal rest on Friday, May 2, 2014 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest Campus. She was the wife of Glenn Harleman.
She was born in Packerton.
She was of the Catholic faith. Prior to her retirement she was employed in the garment industry as a seamstress for Scotty's, Drumheller's, Peerless, and several other garment mills in the surrounding areas.
- She was a daughter of the late Michael and Rose Swetitz Hodel.
Surviving are two daughters, Beth R. wife of Francis "Frank" Yaroszeufski Sr., Ann H., wife of Bruce Gower of Lehighton; a son, Michael R. Harleman and his wife, Dodie of Palmerton; a sister, Helen Hodel of Toms River, New Jersey, two brothers, Alfred Hodel of Waverly New York; and Frank Hodel of Lehighton, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters, Rose Borits, Emma Potak, and Ann Conarty.
