Mrs. Blanche A. Musser, 104, a longtime resident of Emmaus (74+ years) passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 16, in the Cedarbrook Nursing Home, South Whitehall Township.
- She was the widow of Henry S. Musser, who died Jan. 1, 1990.
Born in Mt. Penn, she was a daughter of the late George and Laura Rahn of Kutztown.Although she spent most of her life as a beloved wife, mother and homemaker, she was trained as a bookkeeper and secretary at the Pierce School of Bookkeeping in Philadelphia.
She was also a waitress at her parents' restaurant in Kutztown and Shankweilers in Fogelsville.
Surviving are three sons, Emerson, and his wife, Joyce, of Hometown, Wallace, and his companion, Gerrianne, of Emmaus, and Alan of Corpus Christy, Tex.; a sister, Edna Mertz of Middletown; seven grandchildren, Deborah, wife of Anthony Dellatore of Bloomsburg, Donna, wife of Jason Sturdevant of Stamford, Conn., JoAnn, wife of Roberto Santizo of Wheaton, Ill., Linda of Cape May, N.J., Pamela of Carlisle and Russell and Henry of Mechanicsburg; six great-grandchildren, Jaime, Erin, Chelsea, Benjamin, Sarah and Emma; and a great-great-grandchild Tayah.
