Brandon Harner, 29, of Hegins, died unexpectedly Thursday evening, Nov. 1.
He was a welder with the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Iron Ship Builders, Blacksmiths, Forgers and Helpers, Local 13, Newportville.
Born in Danville, he was a son of William C. Harner Jr. of Elizabethville and Lonarae (Lutz) Harner of Pottsville.
- He was a 2002 graduate of Tri-Valley High School and graduated from ITT Tech, Sunbury.
Harner was a member of F. & A.M. Lodge 401, Watsontown. An avid motorcycle enthusiast, he was also a member of the Masonic Motorcycle Club International, Chapter 19, Mifflinburg.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his fiancee, Leeann Woodring of Hegins, formerly of Tamaqua; a brother Chad (Casey) of Valley View; his stepmother, Tina Harner of Elizabethville; his stepfather, Craig Angelo of Pottsville; a stepbrother, John Leshko of Millersburg; a stepsister, Pamela Leshko of Elizabethville; paternal aunt, Cynthia Huntzinger (Barry) of Valley View; maternal uncle, Eugene Lutz (Julie) of Klingerstown; nieces and nephews; and his faithful canine companions, Honey, Harley and Bison, which he treated as his children.
He was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William Harner Sr. and Catherine Harner; and his maternal grandparents, Eugene and Jane Lutz.
