Daniel D. Leaver

Daniel D. Leaver, 53, of Allentown, passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, Feb. 1, after years of illness.
He was a son of Melvan and Marilyn Leaver of Slatington.
He was married to Jeannie (Billman) Leaver, a resident of Good Shepherd Home, Allentown.He had been a welder and held various jobs throughout his life, but his real love was music. He played the drums for most of his life.
He was very proud of Joshua Leaver, his son from a previous marriage to Kimberly Leaver of Macungie, who recently graduated from Penn State Law School.
Surviving in addition to his widow, parents and son are two brothers, Michael, and his wife, Tammy, and Melvan Jr., and his wife, Karen; a sister Angela, wife of Rene Velasquez; an aunt, Rose Leaver; and nephews and nieces, Becky, Megan, Steve, Patrick, Matthew, Nicole and Laura.
