Dennis W. Garber, 58, of Barnesville, died Thursday, March 14, in the St. Luke Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was the husband of Barbara E. (Bradley) Garber. They were married for 20 years.
- He was employed by the Freeland Post Office as a rural route carrier for 30 years.
Born in Shenandoah, he was a son of the late Walter and Lettie "Betty" (Herring) Garber.He was a member of Christ Church of Rush Township and Barnesville.
Garber was a graduate of Mahanoy Area High School. He was lead vocal and guitar for the group "Bandit" and was an avid NASCAR fan.
Surviving in addition to his widow are a son, Justin A. Kaiser of Delano; two daughters, April M., wife of Lenny Yedsena of Frackville, and Narissa N., at home; four sisters, Joanne Tuckett of Tamaqua, Linda, wife of Charles Humes of Barnesville, and Karen Garber and Brenda Neifert, both of Shenandoah; four grandchildren,
Anthony, Lenny, Brooke and Briley; and many nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, James F. Service:
