Edward P. Ringer
Edward P Ringer, 89, of 34 W. Bertsch St., Lansford, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013, at Gnaden Huetten Hospital in Lehighton. He was the husband of the late Joann (Vitek) Ringer, who passed away in 2008.
Born in Lansford, he was the son of the late Stephen and Mary (Treichak) Ringer.
Edward served in the U.S. Army in the ETO during World War II.
He worked in the local mining Industry.
He was of the Catholic Faith.
Edward was a member of the American Legion and AMVETS, both of Lansford.
Surviving is a daughter, Kathryn Zanders, and her husband James, of Lehighton; and a niece.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Florence Vanno.
