Mrs. Eleanor M. "Tillie" Veron, 80, of Lansford, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, Nov. 15, in the St. Luke's Miners Hospital, Coaldale. She was the husband of Joseph Veron.
Born in West Penn Township, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Elsie (Rausch) Kunkle.
She was of the Lutheran faith.
Eleanor was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, not only to her children, but to many others in the community.
Surviving in addition to her husband are four sons, Joseph, and his wife, Judy, of Coaldale, Robin "Bubba" and Barry, and his wife, Theresa, both of Lansford, and Michael, and his companion, Angela, of Coatesville; a daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Markley of Parryville; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by and infant daughter; two brothers, Kermit and Carl; and a sister, Dorothy Gladney. Service:
