Elizabeth Forrest

Mrs. Elizabeth "Betty" Forrest, 72, quietly passed from this life in the loving arms of her daughter, Sharon, on Sunday, April 28.
Born in the Mahoning Valley, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Christine (Kod-lick) Valek.
She was a graduate of the former Summit Hill High School and attended college in Philadelphia, where she studied X-Ray technology.She lived in Hagerstown, Md., and was active in the Washington County Homemaker's Society.
She was a 4-H leader in Maugansville, Md., and was very active in her church.
Betty was employed as assistant store manager at Highs Dairy, Maugensville, Md., before employment at the Citicorp Payment Processing Center, Hagerstown, where she worked until retiring.
Surviving are a daughter, Sharon Forrest, and her son, Andrew, and a daughter Linda, wife of Michael Horst, and their three children, Kelly, Matthew and Christopher, all of Baltimore, Md.; a son, Mark Forrest, and his wife, Beth, and their three children, Benjamin, Thomas and Timothy, of Hagerstown; three sisters, Anna Cinicola, Christine Carnish and Ann Marie Reinhart, all of Summit Hill; a brother, John Valek, Egg Harbor City, N.J.; seven nephews and two nieces.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Judith May Valek.
