Mrs. Ellen M. Strohl, 64, of Stoney Ridge Road, Palmerton, Lower Towamensing Township, died early Sunday morning, Sept. 29, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
Born in Lehigh Township, she was a daughter of the late Arlington M. and Virginia R. (Blose) Andrews.
Ellen was a loving mother, sister and homemaker.
She was a member and volunteer in the kitchen at Diamond Volunteer Fire Co., Walnutport.
Surviving are Jerry B. Snyder, with whom she resided; Brad K. Wertman, and his wife, Erica, of Whitehall; three sisters, Linda Leibenguth of Packerton, Nina, wife of LaMar Lauer of Palm Coast, Fla., and Cindy, wife of Joseph Meyers of Slatington; four brothers, Dawson, and his wife, Rosemary, of Palmerton, Bertine, and his wife, Susan, of Tamaqua, and Kim, and his wife, Sheila, and Larry, and his wife, Kathy, both of Walnutport; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also predeceased by a brother, Arien "Pooch" Andrews.
