Mrs. Felicitas L. Bodden, 93, of Warrington, Pa., formerly of Lansford and Blakeslee, passed away on Monday, Dec. 23, in the Neshaminy Manor, Warrington.
Born in Cologne, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Alfred Franz and Maria (Cupper) Veldung.
She was of the Catholic faith.
She moved to the U.S. in 1951 and married Hubert Bodden. She became the mother to his four sons, William C., Robert H., Carl R. and John A. Bodden. They also had a son, Ronald W., and a daughter, Felicia T.
She worked as a waitress, hostess and then as directress for Stouffer's restaurant, Jenkintown, Pa., for many years before retiring.
Felicitas was a much loved mother and an excellent cook. Her Christmas cookies alone were well known and will be missed by all.
She is survived by a son, Ronald W. of Quakertown; a daughter, Felicia T. Kuemmerle of Glenside; sons, Carl R. Bodden, husband of Carol, of Doylestown, and John A. Bodden, husband of Kathleen, of Chalfont; a sister Rosemarie of Stolberg, Germany; a half-brother Alfred of Bad Breisig, Germany; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
