Frances M. Frantz
Frances M. "Tutty" Frantz, 83, of Kunkletown died Thursday, April 3 in her home.
She was the wife of the late Allen F. Frantz.
Born in Bath, she was a daughter of the late Oscar and Beulah (Green) Dotter.
She was baptized into the Lutheran faith but was studying to be Jehovah's Witness.
She is survived by six children, Deborah Hartsell of Lehighton, Elaine Koch of Kunkletown, Jonathan Frantz of Kunkletown, Pamela Green of Palmerton, David Frantz of Kunkletown and Cheryl Brink of Effort; five sisters, Betty Green and her husband, William; Patricia Smith and Judith Green and her husband, Robert; all of Palmerton, Astera Hosier and her husband, Arthur of Andreas; and Donna Weil and her husband Roy of Kunkletown; a brother, Wayne Dotter and his wife, Betty of Wilkes Barre; 23 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Jerry Lee Frantz and Allen Frantz Jr., a grandson, Edwin Frantz and by three brothers, Albert, Maurice and Kenneth Dotter.
Services: Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday April 7 from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville, with the Rev. Brian Holben officiating. Burial will be in Jerusalem Lutheran Cemetery, Trachsville. A viewing will be held on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
