Mrs. Janice J. Yale
Mrs. Janice J. Yale, 80 of Franklin Township, died Monday, July 1, in the Inpatient Hospice Unit of the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. She was the widow of Robert A. Yale, who died in 1993.
She was a housewife/homemaker.
Born in Lehighton, she was a daughter of the late Lucas and Mary (Frey) Wetzel.
She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Gnaden Huetten Chapter No. 203, Order of Eastern Star, both of Lehighton.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In her spare time, she loved to quilt and loved taking trips to the New Jersey shore.
Surviving are a son, Mark L., and his wife, Amanda, of Pittsburgh; two daughters, Kathryn A., wife of Bill Ochs of Germansville, and Robyn A., wife of Sherwood Green of Palmerton; a brother, Earl T., and his wife, Pat , and a sister, Karan C., both of Lehighton; three grandchildren, Nicole M. and Kelci L. Yale and Sarah J. Ochs; and nieces and nephews.
She was also predeceased by a brother Norman.
Service: Funeral service 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, Andrew P. Ovsak Funeral Home, Fourth and Iron streets, Lehighton, with the Rev. Donald W. Hayn officiating. Interment, Lehighton Cemetery.
