Mrs. Jessica L. Barron, 65, of Jim Thorpe, lost her eight-month battle with cancer on Wednesday, Oct. 10, in her residence. She was the wife of Charles E. Barron Jr.
- They celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary in April.
She worked in the maintenance department of the J.E. Morgan Knitting Mills, Hometown, for 25 years until retiring.Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of George and Jeanette (Melovich) Kachilla.
She was a former member of the 12th Man Club of Panther Valley and a former member of the 4-H Club of Carbon County.
The deceased was a 1965 graduate of Panther Valley High School.
She loved making and selling all kinds of crafts, especially her flower arrangements. She also enjoyed her many shopping experiences and spending time with her family. She was of the Catholic faith.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter Lori, wife of William McMichael of Lehighton; three grandchildren, Katelyn, Luke, and Cara; and many nieces and nephews. Service:
