Joseph Jasikiewicz

Joseph Jasikiwicz, 94, formerly of Lansford, passed away Feb. 22, 2013, at the Hometown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Hometown. He was the husband of the late Helen E. (Miklas) Jasikiewicz, who died on March 15, 2011.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late Frank and Violet (Gorecki) Jasikiewicz.
He worked for America Chicle Co. in Long Island City, N.Y.
He was a World War II Army veteran.
Joseph was a member of the Lansford AMVETS and Lansford American Legion.
He was of the Catholic faith.
Surviving is a son, Dennis Jasikiewicz of Florida, Gloria Kiefer of Long Island, N.Y and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers, Edward and Chester.
Services: Visiting hours are 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25, 2013 at the Skabak-Parambo Funeral Home, 210 E. Bertsch St., Lansford, with a religious services at 7 p.m. Interment will be on Tuesday at Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, at the convenience of the family.
