Keith L. Lafaw
Keith L. Lafaw, 56, of Daniels Circle, Lehighton, Forest Inn, Towamensing Township, died suddenly on Sunday evening, June 2, in his home.
He was a forklift operator for Nestle Water North America, Breinigsville, since 2005. Previously, he worked for the former Mid-Atlantic Canners Association, Hamburg, for 32 years, and as a chef for the Split Rock Lodge, Lake Harmony.Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Lawrence H. and Geraldine S. (Green) Lafaw.
- He was the hus-band of Cindy F. (Mertz) Lafaw since Sept 10, 1977.
He attended Blue Mountain Community Church, Palmerton.
Lafaw was a 1974 graduate of Palmerton Area High School.
He enjoyed the outdoors, coaching soccer for Towamensing Township, kayaking and biking.
Surviving in addition to his widow are two sons, Bradley K., at home, and Jeremy R. of Shippensburg University, Cumberland County; his paternal grandmother, Dorothy (Boothroyd) Lafaw of Bristol; a sister, Vanessa A. Gerancher of Northampton; an aunt, Trish (Green) Whittaker of Rehoboth Beach, Del.; three uncles, Donald Lafaw, and his wife, Patricia, of Catasauqua, and Ronald and Robert Green, both in California; his parents-in-law, Robert and Faye (Strohl) Mertz of Lehighton; and nieces and nephews.
He was also predeceased by a sister, Karen K. Hedrick, who died in 2001.
Service: Funeral service 11 a.m. Thursday, June 6, Blue Mountain Community Church, Palmerton, with the Revs. Rick R. Collins and Jennifer K. Eckhart officiating. Interment, private. Call, 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Ave., Palmerton, and 10-11 a.m. Thursday in the church.
