Kenneth K. Hawk Sr.

Kenneth K. Hawk Sr., 79, of Lehighton, passed away on Saturday, April 6.
He will be remembered for having a heart of gold and a great sense of humor.
He was a dye caster for Blue Ridge Pressure Casting, Lehighton, for many years before retiring.Born in Lehighton, he was a son of the late Floyd Hawk Sr. and Flossie (Weaver) Hawk Hunt.
He attended Lehighton Area High School and was of the Christian faith.
Hawk was an avid hunter and fisherman and his favorite hobby was fly-tying.
Surviving are a son, Kenneth Jr. of Allentown; three daughters, Diane of Tamaqua, Carol, wife of Paul Kester of Palmerton, and Linda, wife of Les Turner of Lehighton, a brother Robert of Lehighton; four grandchildren, Joshua Mertz, Julie Mertz-Frey, Jason Smith and Alysia Ruzicka and Alyson Rehrig; three great-grandchildren, Olivia, Sophia and Bella; and a great-grandchild on the way.
He was also preceded in death by brother, Floyd Jr.; and his past wife, Lorraine "Lucy" Steigerwalt.
